Leticia Peltzer, MD
Otolaryngologist
Dr. Peltzer attended medical school at the University of Pennsylvania where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Her internship/residency were completed at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Additionally, Dr. Peltzer has a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Texas at Dallas/Callier Center for Communication Disorders, and worked in that field for four years before attending medical school. Her undergraduate degree was earned from the University of Texas at Austin. She moved to Southwest Virginia in 2006, after practicing in Houston, Texas for six years, where she started her medical practice in 1999. Dr. Peltzer is affiliated with Johnston Memorial Hospital and Wellmont Bristol Regional Medical Center as a Board certified Otolaryngologist-Head and Neck Surgeon. She also performs surgeries at Johnston Memorial Hospital Ambulatory Surgery Center (at The Campus in Abingdon), Sapling Grove Surgery Center, and Bristol Surgery Center. She enjoys serving the Southwest Virginia Community.
Sara Thead, PA-C
Certified Physician Assistant
Sara Thead is a Physician Assistant from Bristol, TN. She earned her BS in Biology from King University and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Emory & Henry College School of Health Sciences. Being an allergy patient herself, and with a background of training in Family Medicine, she is excited for the opportunity to help the patients of this area. In her spare time she enjoys going to concerts, traveling to visit family, and volunteering at her local church.
Emily Bodfish, PA-C

Emily Bodfish was born in New York, but spent most of her childhood years in Tampa, Florida. She moved to Southwest Virginia to attend Emory and Henry College for her undergraduate degree, and play soccer for the school. After graduating in 2016 with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology, she received her phlebotomy certification and volunteered and worked at the Mel Leaman Free Clinic in Marion. She then attended Emory and Henry's Physician Assistant program where she received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies. In her spare time, she enjoys snowboarding, hiking and exploring the Appalachian Mountains. She is also a "foodie", and is always seeking to try new cuisines!
Kelsie Addison, PA-C
Certified Physician Assistant
Kelsie Addison is a Physician Assistant from Washington County, VA. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science from Liberty University, she worked as a medical assistant with this practice, growing her passion for ENT. Kelsie then attended Emory & Henry College School of Health Sciences to obtain a Master of Physician Assistant Studies. In her spare time, she enjoys the company of family and friends, exploring outdoors, and attempting new recipes.
